Gorgeous portrait -full of attitude, i love the angle, lighting, and feeling of depth in this shot.
My only critique here would be that i think the full-size image you uploaded is a bit big -
in general anything over 1000 pixels is too big for most people's screens, and that makes it a lot harder to see the picture without scrolling.
While you do loes some details with a smaller image, you'll generally get a better response from an image you can see all in one go, and can always upload a separate detail image if there's anything that warrants extra attention (i do this with my paintings quite often).
easy to do!
if it's the resizing that's the problem, it's pretty much the same process in any photo editing software -just open the image, go to 'image' and 'size' or 'resize', then you can choose the size you want based on pixel values or a percentage of the image size - for this one i'd say you want about 1000 pixel width, or around 45%.
Then you just save the smaller image as a new file and it's ready to upload.
The edit deviation button is underneath the picture in your gallery, a label will pop up if you hover your mouse over it. Click on that and it'll take you to the editing page and it should be plain sailing from there!
Hope that's a help, and not too patronising. I found DA pretty confusing when i first got here a couple of years back!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
