Thank you muchly!

Gorgeous portrait -full of attitude, i love the angle, lighting, and feeling of depth in this shot.

My only critique here would be that i think the full-size image you uploaded is a bit big -
in general anything over 1000 pixels is too big for most people's screens, and that makes it a lot harder to see the picture without scrolling.
While you do loes some details with a smaller image, you'll generally get a better response from an image you can see all in one go, and can always upload a separate detail image if there's anything that warrants extra attention (i do this with my paintings quite often).

Your little sister is a great model!

to clarify... by 1000 pixels, i was referring to width. i'd forget my head some days! :)

Yeah I agree, I hate when I have to scroll about but I didnt realise when I did it and now I dont know how to change it!cheers for the comments! x

easy to do!
if it's the resizing that's the problem, it's pretty much the same process in any photo editing software -just open the image, go to 'image' and 'size' or 'resize', then you can choose the size you want based on pixel values or a percentage of the image size - for this one i'd say you want about 1000 pixel width, or around 45%.
Then you just save the smaller image as a new file and it's ready to upload.
The edit deviation button is underneath the picture in your gallery, a label will pop up if you hover your mouse over it. Click on that and it'll take you to the editing page and it should be plain sailing from there!

Hope that's a help, and not too patronising. I found DA pretty confusing when i first got here a couple of years back!

I love the expression on her face, thats where the power of the image is coming from for sure

she's so special, I love her sooo much. She's just come back from a holiday and it seems like she's grown up so much in a week.I'm going to try and do another series with her soon, more of this sort of thing. When I get back to college I'll scan a lot more in too.Just for you, my only fan!

Well I can't wait to see them I'm sure they will all look amazing
